Last weekend it snowed. Oh boy, was I irked! First day of spring, travel planned, things to be done...
And there are three inches of the white stuff on the ground. Heavily, fat snowflakes falling quickly to the ground. After a day that had nearly hit seventy degrees.
Missouri. Ugh! What else can you say?
Yesterday the temps went up, the snow melted, and the earth had made a radical transformation.
The grass was green.
The daffs popped up.
My other spring flowers are peeking above the ground now, as well. Two more weeks and we'll have crocus, and the other funny looking purple ones I can never remember. (If you know it, tell me! You can see one budding on the bottom left of the picture.) I am excited to see exactly what colors of irises we have!
