Work in Progress

I don’t just write blog posts or snarky news. I also write fiction. It can be difficult to balance writing for three different types of readers. For the longest time, I’ve thought there could be little to no overlap, but I refuse to think this way any longer. As a condition I set for myself on my birthday, I am publishing some of this work in progress on my blog—opening it up for commentary and suggestions. I want my blog to be an accurate representation of who I actually am. Also, I think the added pressure will make me finish a damn story, for once in my life.

Please be nice. It sucks as it is to put things out into the world when you feel vulnerable—and no matter how good the draft of what you’re working on may be—a draft of something makes you feel pretty damn vulnerable.

So, no mean comments.

Supportive comments. Constructive criticism from fellow writers. Offers to pay me millions of dollars. Or even serious publishing inquiries (that pay in US dollars, and not subscriptions or coupons). This is the aim of sharing my work.

Also, if I catch you stealing my ideas or words, I will pursue every avenue available to me under the law. Everything on this site is copyrighted by me.
